For those of us in the Midwest and Northeast, months of snow are finally behind us, and the temperatures are slowly inching upward. Bicycle season is upon us.

As you’re dusting off your bikes and filling your tires, please also think about placing your sticker orders. We at iblockthebikelane.com have been thrilled with the traffic to our website, but we only have small contingencies of BLST volunteers on the streets in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. We need your help to remind motorists that standing or parking in clearly marked bicycle lanes is dangerous and illegal.

Stickers are now available through the website on the Join the Bike Lane Sticker Team page (http://iblockthebikelane.com/jointheblst). You will be prompted to make a small donation to cover the cost of printing and postage.

Please place your orders, spread the word and join us in making the roads safer in 2011.
